“ Another wonderful meal at Grove Market & Smokehouse! We had not been since Covid and were so happy to return! There have been a few updates inside that were nice. No more plastic patio chairs. In fact a bench seat with cushions along one whole wall gave my husband and I a cozy seat. Also there were 2 cocktails offered along with the usual beer and wine. Decor has never been our priority coming here. The food is and always has been the best on the shore! Everything is locally sourced and fresh. Nothing is prepped ahead. The menu is given to diners orally. Always several options that are described in perfect detail for each course making it hard to decide. I won’t go into detail about our choices but apps, entrees and desserts were a 10/10. I will say my husband said the scallops were the best he ever had! The pork shank was tender, moist and so full of flavor. If you would appreciate a fine dining experience in a cozy setting with excellent service then make your reservation now! ”

“ I’ve heard lots of high praise for the Grove from friends and it exceeded my expectations! Service was impeccable. I think it was Brad/ Brett? I’m sorry I forgot his name but he was a star! I love the mystery of not knowing until you get there what is going to be on the menu that evening. Plenty of options for all three courses. I wanted a few entrees! The scallops were enormous and could easy feed two. The crusted grouper was perfectly cooked. The whole experience from the reservation system to no credit cards to reciting the menu just adds to the unique experience. The prices were EXTREMELY reasonable for the portion and quality. 11 for a FULL glass of wine is hard to find! Very happy to have the pleasure of meeting the very talented Jamie, the chef, on our way out. What a talented guy! It’s a bit of a drive from Rehoboth but absolutely worth it! “ Tucked away just a few minutes away from the hustle of Ocean city this was a splendid find. It reminds you of a cozy home with a comforting ambiance. They call out the menu for the day. The food was incredible, fresh and delicious. They did not have any meat options and I am a vegetarian so the chef prepared a special vegetarian meal just for me. Definitely would recommend! ”
“ This is a hidden gem. I happened to be driving by and thought it looked interesting. I stumbled across the BEST restaurant I've eaten at in the 25 years of going to the shore. From the moment you walk in and meet either Kristen or Missy, you will feel like you're at your relatives' home for a special dinner. The menu from the appetizers thru the main course and dessert is all oral. Our waiter, Solomon, was excellent. He was new to the restaurant but knowledgeable and there when we needed him but not intrusive. I won't list any of the menus, but I included pics of our food. All the fruits and vegetables are locally sourced. The duck, pork, meat, and fish are all local, too. The duck is their signature dish but cooked different ways each time I went. It's refreshing to have substantial portions with food this good. The only thing that is as excellent as the food is the service. I'll say it again, you will feel like family. As I'm writing this, I'm making another reservation to go. ”
